After working with
Ghanim Anaz for around a year I was very pleased to receive a copy of his diwan
in the post yesterday.
It's also the first time I've had my English translations of Arabic poetry and
short stories published in print, which is really exciting!
If anyone is interested in modern Iraqi issues surrounding the oil industry, or
poetry in general Ghanim is a talented writer and a pleasure to read.
I look forward to our next project!
